Judge Reagan C. Helm

Judge Reagan C. Helm was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 1 in November, 1994 and took the bench on January 1, 1995. He presides over one of fifteen county criminal courts at law with countywide jurisdiction over serious misdemeanor cases such as driving while intoxicated, domestic violence, illegal possession of drugs, criminal pollution, and theft.


Judge Bill Harmon

Judge Bill Harmon was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 2 in November, 2006 and took the bench on January 1, 2007.  From 1984-2006, Judge Harmon was the presiding judge in the 178th District Civil Court of Harris County Trying Criminal Cases.  He was previously an assistant district attorney in the Harris County District Attorney's Office from 1977-81, and he was in private practice as an attorney from 1981-84.


Judge Don Jackson

Judge Don Jackson was appointed by Harris County Commissioners Court as presiding judge of County Criminal Court No. 3 in August, 1992 and was later elected to the bench in November, 1993. Judge James Anderson

Judge James Anderson was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 4 in November, 1986 and took the bench on January 1, 1987. Judge Margaret Stewart Harris

Judge Margaret Stewart Harris was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 5 in November, 2002 and took the bench on January 1, 2003. She presides over one of fifteen county criminal courts at law with countywide jurisdiction over serious misdemeanor cases such as driving while intoxicated, domestic violence, illegal possession of drugs, criminal pollution, and theft.


Judge Larry Standley

Judge Larry Standley was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 6 in November, 1998 and took the bench on January 1, 1999. Judge Pam Derbyshire

Judge Pam Derbyshire was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 7 in November, 1998 and took the bench on January 1, 1999. Judge Analia Wilkerson

Judge Analia Wilkerson was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 9 in November, 1994 and took the bench on January 1, 1995.  She presides over one of fifteen county criminal courts at law with countywide jurisdiction over serious misdemeanor cases such as driving while intoxicated, domestic violence, illegal possession of drugs, criminal pollution, and theft.


Judge Sherman Ross

A Republican since 1978, he was appointed to the bench in 1981 by Harris County Commissioner's Court.  He later was elected by his fellow judges to be Presiding Judge of the County Criminal Courts at Law, a position he has held on three different occasions for a total of seven years.  Judge Ross has been either the Presiding Judge of the County Criminal Courts at Law or a chairperson on one or more of its important committees during his entire term of office.

Judge Mike Fields

Judge Mike Fields was elected as presiding judge of Harris County Criminal Court No. 14 in November, 1998. Judge Jean Spradling Hughes

Judge Jean Spradling Hughes was appointed by Harris County Commissioners Court as presiding judge of County Criminal Court No. 15 on November 1, 1995.
