SAFE SCHOOL PROGRAM
Mission Statement
To solve and prevent felony crimes and/or terroristic threats, possession of weapons, vandalism, possession of narcotics, and gang activity which has already occurred, is in the process of occurring, or may occur in the future on Harris County High School and Middle School campuses, school buses, and at school events.
What We Do
In 1997, Crime Stoppers established the Safe School Program to encourage reports about terroristic threats, weapons, narcotics, gang activity, and other planned school crimes on Harris County high school and middle school campuses. The Crime Stoppers Safe School team visits schools in more than twenty-two Harris County school districts, and educates students about responsibly reporting criminal activity to 713-222-TIPS.
